Bill MichellLead Project Engineer and Designer

Bill has over 20 years of experience in the Automotive Technology, Electronic and Electrical Engineering fields. He has proven ability and experience in designing, planning, managing and implementing projects from electronic/automotive assembly robotics controls to corrosion control technologies on paint application equipment, paint booths, cure ovens, material handling systems and all types of coating systems. Bill is acting Principal/Owner for Southern Fluid Systems, Inc.

Sam TorreyIndustrial Sales / Project Management

Sam has 15+ years of experience in assessing, evaluating and implementing corrosion control technologies in controlled and field conditions on paint application equipment, paint booths (powder and liquid), cure ovens, conveyorized material handling systems and coating systems. Currently he is the equipment lead in the design, development and execution of the Marine Corp’s Corrosion Prevention And Control (CPAC) program.

Salleigh GrubbsGeneral Manager

Salleigh oversees the day-to-day operations of SFS. She brings over 25 years in the coatings industry coupled with corporate governance and management expertise. Her understanding of coatings and the manufacturing process enables her to truly comprehend the challenges customers go through and assist them in making smart choices for their process.

Thomas WilliamsInside Sales & Training

Thomas comes to Southern Fluid Systems after spending more than twenty (20) years in the liquid and powder coating profession. A hands on professional, Thomas knows the in’s and out’s of running a paint shop for automotive and in more recent years, powder coating. Knowledgeable about hand guns for both liquid and powder, he is able to help customers troubleshoot a myriad of issues. Utilizing his hands on experience, he is able to guide customers to the most effective and efficient choices.

Brian TysonPurchasing Manager

Brian has been with Southern Fluid Systems for more than fifteen (15) years. Brian acts as a liaison with our distributors and makes all purchases not only for stock inventory but for custom jobs as well. He is a repository of equipment information which includes compressors, spray guns (both liquid and powder), AMU’s, spray booths, sanding booths, vacuum systems and pumps. If there’s a need – Brian can source the correct part!
